Walking

Grayson has started to walk!!  A few weeks ago we got to experience the transformation from always walking along things or having to hold our fingers to him standing on his own and then finally to taking a few steps unassisted.  This past week he has really gotten the concept down and will try to walk to and from things most of the time.  He is still wobbly so it is a few steps toward his destination and then plop he falls down and off he crawls.  It has been truly amazing to see his progression in such a short amount of time.  In general he is a baby that gets excited when people like what he does so it has been really hard to encourage him to learn this new skill and also hold back so that he slows down.  In the beginning any encouragement would have him catapulting towards you as if he could take two huge steps and be in your arms.  Each day brings improvement and a new way of enjoying life for our little guy.

*You see those stairs, ah the dreaded stairs!!!!  Maybe we will buy a one story house before we think of having another child grow up in our home.  OR...   :)
