Annual Pierre Trip

So our month of absence meant a whirlwind of fun events and vacations.  To start August off we spent four days in Pierre, SD on our annual Zimmer Family vacation.  This year marked a year of firsts: we split of responsibilities of meals, created family shirts, went to the beach, and the boys were back from the lake before 5 pm (on more than one occasion).  I have to say it was the best year yet, the only thing that could have been better is getting more beach time without the wind capipulting sand in your face.  The wind cut the beach day short and more than one of the fishing days for the boys.  But other than that good times were had and it's sad to think how quickly it came and went.

We made a trip to the Children's Science Museum!

Grayson loved this little bike that is made without pedals, especially when mom would just take over and steer him around.

Josh and Sadie showing off some amazing mirror tricks.  There were lots of optical allusion tricks.

Grayson playing peek-a-boo out of the treehouse.

Everyone's shirts sport a circle made with the kids hands.  Grayson's is the red blob!! He didn't do the greatest but had fun getting dirty and getting his Auntie Stacy dirty too. :)

Great Grandma Audrey trying her hardest to reign in all the kids.  Good thing camera's flash quick because we couldn't get the little buggers to all stay still at the same time for more than a press of a button.

The entire gang (minus the 4 dogs)... never a dull moment :)

    1. All the kids. They are all on the back of the shirts since we thought we would put something on the front but then decided that we will reuse them next year and put something different on the front for next year.
