Coming Home

Coming home... you would think that the idea of bringing home a newborn would bring about some hesitation: hesitation to start doing it all on your own; hesitation to not have a nurse close by to check in on your baby; hesitation to have your entire life changed forever but for Andrew and I we couldn't have been more ready to get home after Grayson was born.  Even with Grayson coming 2 1/2 weeks before my due date we were ready for his arrival.  After a quick trip over to the Appeldorns to get Lucy we were at home and settled in within a few hours.  It's crazy to think that just 2 days before we walked out of our garage door as Andrew and Carissa and came back in as a Mom and a Dad.
