Daycare Provider Appreciation Day

First I have to preface this post with... DANG IT!!!!  I started writing this post about a month ago when I realized that Daycare Provider Appreciation Day was coming up (May 11th) and was going to finish it once I got a good picture of Grayson and Amy together.  Well what do you know but I do fall victim to mommy syndrome and totally forgot that the holiday was in May and not June like I kept telling myself.  Err!!  But either way, today, yesterday, or any day from here on out what I have written below definitely will hold true.  Sorry I missed your day, I will be sure to make up for it. :)  Wait Andrew already did when he brought you Caribou for Mother's Day, that was on purpose you know.  HA! I only wish I could take credit for that.


Saying thank you doesn't even come close to showing how much we APPRECIATE our daycare provider.  Amy is not only the best childcare provider but an amazing Aunt as well.  She goes above and beyond when it comes to our son.  There isn't a day that goes by that we don't feel incredibly blessed to have such an important person guide our son through his early years in life.  She is always attentive to our needs and wishes as parents.  The little extras really add up; such as providing text updates when Grayson is sick or an impromptu picture of the little guy to get us through the day.  The love and care he receives is top notch.  But the list of items on our thank you list doesn't end there.  Not only does he receive plenty of hugs and kisses but the right amount of discipline and learning opportunities.  The younger you are in life the more impressionable you are and having a daycare provider that understands that speaks volumes about how good they are at what they do.  We are constantly learning new ways to go about handling different scenarios that without her we would have probably handled terribly.  She is careful to hold her tongue but also speak up when she has valuable information that could help.  The techniques and concepts she is able to pass along are invaluable.  I mean for gosh sakes, if you have a method that can nip whining in the butt you have to be a superstar!!!

Amy... The list goes on and on but we hope that everyday you know how incredibly grateful we are to have a constant in Grayson's life that is worthy of looking up to.  You exhibit kindness, patience, thoughtfulness, ... All things that make you a SUPER DI DOOPER daycare provider.  You are the best and for that we say

This pretty much sums up why we can't say thank you enough. 
If we can't be there for the cuddles and snuggles we are so glad that you can be!!!!
